First of all this is way off base. Nowhere in the bible does it say "Jesus was ok with homosexuality"
In fact: it says homos should be put to death.
Leviticus 20:13 KJV
13 If
a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them
have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their
blood shall be upon them.
Homosexuality is not a natural part of sin,or part of the sin nature; meaning normal people will not naturally have feelings of being gay. Homosexuality is something that comes with being a Reprobate Mind. Here is the definition of a Reprobate Mind in the bible.
Romans 1:21-32
21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
What we are seeing here in the Authorized King James version of the bible; is that in order for humans to have such vile affections God had to give them over to a reprobate mind. It's not something a person is born with.
Stories about sodomy are only found in three places in the bible. In all three of these places its depicted in a negative light.
Genesis 9:20-25
20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard:
21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent.
22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father, and told his two brethren without.
23 And Shem and Japheth took a garment, and laid it upon both their shoulders, and went backward, and covered the nakedness of their father; and their faces were backward, and they saw not their father's nakedness.
24 And Noah awoke from his wine, and knew what his younger son had done unto him.
25 And he said, Cursed be Canaan; a servant of servants shall he be unto his brethren.
So here we see the first time the act of sodomy comes up where Ham had done something to Noah, and the Canaanites are cursed because of it. Also this is the first mention of liquor, or wine. Another reason we should never drink.
Genesis 19:4-10
4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
5 And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
6 And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
7 And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
8 Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
9 And they said, Stand back. And they said again, This one fellow came in to sojourn, and he will needs be a judge: now will we deal worse with thee, than with them. And they pressed sore upon the man, even Lot, and came near to break the door.
10 But the men put forth their hand, and pulled Lot into the house to them, and shut to the door.
The Sodomites surrounded the house and demanded Lot to bring these men out saying "so we may know them" meaning they wanted to have relations with them. Hints the word Sodomy or Sodomite.
Judges 19:22-25
22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him.
23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly.
24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.
25 But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
Again Sodomites surrounding the house, beating on the door demanding the man comes out saying "Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him."
Trying to sodomize the man.
- Deuteronomy 23:17
- There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel, nor a sodomite of the sons of Israel.
- 1 Kings 14:24
- And there were also sodomites in the land: and they did according to all the abominations of the nations which the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.
- 1 Kings 15:12
- And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made.
- 1 Kings 22:46
- And the remnant of the sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land.
- 2 Kings 23:7
- And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the LORD, where the women wove hangings for the grove.
- In conclusion at no point in the bible is there any scripture saying Jesus would be OK with gay marriage, nor can anyone find one scripture talking about sodomy in a positive light; it just doesn't exist. Any bible believing Christian will NOT support homos, or take any pleasure in them.
Romans1:32
32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them
So now we see not to take pleasure in those of a Reprobate Mind.
But does God hate?
Psalm 11:5
5 The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.
God does hate! Should we hate?
Psalm 139:21-2121 Do not I hate them, O Lord, that hate thee? and am not I grieved with those that rise up against thee?
22 I hate them with perfect hatred: I count them mine enemies.
2 Chronicles 19:2
2 And Jehu the son of Hanani the seer went out to meet him, and said to king Jehoshaphat, Shouldest thou help the ungodly, and love them that hate the Lord? therefore is wrath upon thee from before the Lord.
The Bible does not just teach us we should hate those who hate God. It teaches God's wrath will be on all those who love the haters of God.
The whole world is trying to make us love the sinner, and the sin. I don't know about you, but I Hate Them BOTH!
Even Obama made June LGBT Month , so now our own government is taking pride in sodomy.
Do not love the homos, nor take pleasure in anything they do!
Choose you this day whom ye will serve.
